Explanation
of different installation alternatives: slimline, pendants,
wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted.
Directly
on a concrete ceiling
If the ceiling is solid or hollow concrete, direct installation
with ceiling fixtures is possible. Several different types
of fixtures make installation as quick and convenient as
possible.
Anti-vibration mounts can be used, e.g., if there is a risk
that vibration on the rail can spread to adjoining rooms.
Hangers
from a concrete ceiling
An attractive solution is to mount the rail with fixtures
installed above the ceiling, e.g., via hangers from a concrete
ceiling. Hangers can also be used if the ceiling height
is very high or if lamp fixtures pose an obstacle for the
rails.
Hangers are available in lengths of up to 1350 mm.
Wooden
beams
Wooden joists and rafters are very common structural features
in small homes and houses with curb roofs. Here, we can
suspend the rail with the help of threaded rods bolted through
the beams, joists or rafters. The rail is then mounted below
the ceiling.
Wall
mounting
In rooms with concrete walls, but where it is for some reason
not possible to mount rails from the ceiling, installation
with wall mounts is an alternative. Wall mounting may also
be possible on drywall backed by studs.
Support
legs
Another alternative where ceiling installation is not possible
is our support leg, Slimline. The support leg blends in
attractively with the décor and is easily removed
when the lift system is no longer needed.
External piping and existing baseboards pose no problem
for Slimline.
